Unique and Diverse
The Valmont Bike Park is one of the most unique and diverse bike parks in the nation mapped with 42-acres of natural surface cycling terrain trails offering diverse amenities for several riding styles and abilities. The park is free and open daily from dawn to dusk as weather and trail conditions allow.
The Valmont Dog Park is a 3.25-acre park and is the biggest dog park in the City of Boulder. The park has a .25 acre area fenced for small dogs and a 3-acre fenced area for large dogs. There is a seasonal spigot.
The Valmont Disc Golf Course is located on the south side of Valmont and hosts annual tournaments.
See the city’s 2015 Concept Plan of an additional 90-acres which is slated to make this park the biggest in Boulder for a total of 135 acres including the existing bike and dog park. The future park expansion plans consist of ballfields, track, trails, aquatics facilities, playground, outdoor education gardens, court sports, and more.
